Hi Everyone,

If you need convincing of the inspirational potential of online digital scrapbook Pinterest, here it is, in the form of ArchDaily’s Pinterest site. It’ll be a really useful tool for your studies and an excellent way of recording your online travels!
It’s very addictive so be warned! Here is a link to my ‘boards’ if you’re interested.

Hi Everyone,
Last Monday I gave an interactive lecture on aspects of collaboration and interaction in learning. I really enjoyed it and it seemed to go down well with second year students.
We used a live Twitter feed and interactive polling via mobile phones. Any thoughts on this, let me know…

You may want to have a look at Evernote, if you haven’t already to help organise your digital life! I use it a lot and find it really useful. The ‘slides’ come via Slideshare - another really useful resource for your learning.

The screening of Baraka in the Digital media studio seemed to inspire students on the Spiritual Pathway in Year 2. Here is a clip (change the settings to HD full screen!) of a new film, Samsara, out very soon by the same team - looks stunning!!

We are thinking of developing a Screen club, once a week, where we show inspirational films, documentaries and TV programmes - Please discuss below if you think  you would be interested…

Hi Everyone,

Here are some great shots of our third year degree show in June. There were 37 students exhibiting their final major projects and we decided to use an elaborate scaffolding structure kindly sponsored by a local company. We had a lot of visitors, including many people from industry as well as a very impressed VC!!
